Askins & Askins
Knox Askins grew up in Brenham and worked his way through college and law school via various radio, television and newspaper jobs. He received his bachelor’s degree in 1958, and his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1962, from the University of Houston. Upon graduation he came to La Porte to begin law practice. He was appointed City Attorney of the City of La Porte in 1965, where he served for more than 50 years.
Knox is true friend, a mentor and a blessing to so many in our community and we are honored to recognize him with a Lifetime Membership to our Chamber of Commerce.
